Oh my gosh, Fred is absolutely adorable! He is so cute, especially when Adam is about to kick the ball and Fred gets sooo excited. It's so cute, I can't stand it! I don't know why I find this insanely cute, but I do! Not to mention that the ball is huge compared to his little sausage-body and he carries it back with so much bravado. This is why I just loooove dachshunds!

And the chicken. That is just priceless. :O)

This is so hilarious!! In our house all the squeakers go first too. Which I to don't get as Lila LOVES her squeaky toys.

They do have one or two toys that have gone that extra mile though, and they guard them fiercly.

I recently got Tofu an octopus toy that, among other things, had squeakers in each leg. Well, as soon as he figured out how to chew one squeaker out that was it. The rest were removed in minutes. Must find one of those silly rubber chickens..!

That first picture is hilarious. There is a toy called, I think, Egg Babies- a stuffed toy that has a pocket with stuffed squeaky eggs inside. It's a weird concept but it makes sense- the dogs can disembowel over and over. My dogs are obsessed with the thing. It's become THE toy while others languish in the toy basket. Anyway, I've got shredded egg babies everywhere. I think Hamish would love that rubber chicken though.

He is too amazing! I found an organic special wool toy for my newest doxie,which was shredded in 8 minutes, was $3 a minute,he has an old hand e down camel which is his favorite sans ears,squeaker, stuffing, and facial features,he also uses it as a pillow sometimes.Where can i find the chicken toy?
