Sitter: "So I get home from work on the first day. Lisa's jumping around on one foot in the kitchen because she just stepped in poop, the dogs are screaming at me and everything is chaotic.
We finally settle down in front of the TV, start watching, and realize there's more poop next to the couch. We clean it up, sit down again, and the TV goes out for the night. So we put the dogs in the crate, thinking they'd calm down and sleep for the night.
We gave up on that around ten.
So we all pile in bed and try to get some sleep. When three-thirty rolls around, Theo is jumping all over the bed and I'm hating him ever so much. I slip on boots and let him out in the backyard at which point he starts terrorizing absolutely nothing at all, barking and running and barking and running.
Of course, I go outside to bring him in and unintentionally start a terrible game of chase that he couldn't get enough of. It went on and on and on."
Me: "Um...so...it went....well?"
Sitter: "I'm a cat person now."

this post made me really laugh out loud! thanks for the laugh, I needed it! So, how did the sitter do the rest of the time?
LMAO! Welcome home.
All reports suggest the rest of the week was just fine. Puppy sitting has always proven to be most difficult for the first 24 hours whenever I've done it too :)
Too funny. Hubby will be home as of today with our batch while I head out to CA for a week or so. It's always amusing to hear his stories of how they behave while I am gone.
They know who the real boss is around here. :-)
