Great gmail name. I will be sending pictures, as soon as I get a puppy of my own!
Question- any plans for future posts on how to manage a puppy and a 40 hour work week all by yourself? Because that's the only thing standing in my way...
I'm going to find a few of my favorites to send you asap. Thank you again, great idea. Love ya Nic!
I have a Schnauzer, so I can't hang with the cool kids.
Maybe I could try and stretch her out a bit...
Lyla: I had to switch Calvin from having a stay-at-home Dad to one with a 40hr work week. I don't recommend it for the youngsters, but with proper training, it CAN be done!
Javaqueen: Can't wait to see them!
Kristen: We'll be calling for non-dachshund guest posts! That's probably easier than putting her on the stretcher. Although...maybe not...
Oh I have a good puppy stories - but my baby was a HUGE english Setter/Border Collie cross so totally opposite of the tiny little adorable dachshunds!
I love the idea of this blog - so much fun. Although it'll make me want a dog really badly!
Looking forward to some dachshund fun. The site looks great!
Your pals,
Joey and Maggie....
Rufus is long like a dachshund. You should definitely feature him! :)
Oh! I just had a great idea for a guest post. I even know the perfect photos to use!
Looking forward to reading you.
I tried to click on "Meet the Dogs" but there was no link.
Alice: Send me a guest post for our non-dachshund days! Any dog blog post is welcome!
Joey&Maggie: Back atcha! Thanks!
Erin: Send it over!
DailyDachshund: yeah that's jus the header for the slideshow. Don't worry, you're not missing out on anything. Some of the dogs have bios under the author sections.
Love the name and header of your blog! Looking forward to some great reading.

Just got here from a link on the fabulous 'Long and Short of it All.' First off, Ben, you're hot. Almost as hot as your little dogs.
I look forward to some good reading here.
James: Gee...uhh...thanks? I'm used to being known as the one who brings the cute dogs though and that's kinda okay with me haha.

Will be back to read more - Thanks!
Such a cute blog, and pics!! I do have a couple questions and was hoping that somone might be able to help me out.....I have 2 mini dachshunds (there sisters) they are 2 and 1/2, I however did not get them until they were 1 year old...Probably over the last 9 months they have become so anxiety ridden that whenever my roommate or I leave they cry, bark, and almost scream until we return...We both work and so they are kenneled together in a big kennel inside, they also have started to potty and poop inside the house whenever there not getting enough attention. We know that we have completely spoiled them rotten but are having a really hard time trying to calm them and break the bad habit, any ideas or suggestions would be great! Also they are VERY territorial of our house and will bite and attack anybody that trys to come over especially men, which is starting to become another issue as that my roommate and i can rarely have our boyfriends over and have the girls out...So again any suggestions of how to break these bad habits would be great! Thanx so much
Jen
I love your blog! ;) I'm an equally proud momma to a terribly spoiled, irrepressible, but oh-so adorable dachshund.
Greetings from Manila! I can't wait to read the rest of the entries.

Ella said My Ten year dachshund Honsie first time having difficulty urinating one late nite .I didn,t think there was a problem, i assummed he was playing me for his favorite treat beggin strips. his reward after doing his business out side. As the hours past he wanted to go out it seemed like every 15 min, since it was 2:00am I really coulden,t see. until early daylight,Honsie was not urinating, like normal. Hewas only urinating like one drop at a time. Then remembering that early nite he had vomited. The out come from the vet was he tried the sallest cathiter and coulden/t pass into his bladder. Dr.s diagnoses was surgery or I would have to put him done. I was so emotionaly tramatize my mom in the waitng room i came out to tell her as i was so choked up with tremendos shock i really couldn/t speak those words that he is giong to die. We left the office to return to my husband and son,mom,dad.. Then I started thinking can/t these stones be desolved.I called the Vet back to discuss this possible treatment and he said yes with Baytril antibiotic and Royal Canin Urinary So canned food. started on December 8 2009. I had to force this food. December 09 at 8;15 Pm he had started to urinate a stream on the floor this was the start of honsie to begin to recover each day urinating more and more. Feb. 03 2010 would be 8 weeks of Baytril antibiotic and the canned food has to be continued another month. It's now Feb.28 2010. Honsie has been doing excellent. In my gut feeling. I always prepared his food chicken mixed veg rice mashed potatoe, since the last dog food scare. From watching the Veria Holistic channel animal companions. A remedy of food can be the remedy would be the correct diet. Since this inceident happened the Vet never took xrays or ultra sound. The reason I,m reaching out is maybe someone has also experienced this condition. And due to having a disability with limited funds. I really don't know of a holistic Vet. to trust I thought I could get some suggestions of some other presious dachshund's companion who could save the trmendous work involed that I just don't have the energy, due to condition. Of maybe someone could point me in the holistic direction of help. As I see it my current Vet will keep Honsie on this western way of them getting richer. Because most people follow the advertising rather then taking the time to investigate the research. that just about every poduct made you really have no clue whats in the food, just because you see in advetising makes great commercials. this is my first time on the computer to reach out, Ihope I did't bla, bla, bla to much. I enjoyed reading the other bloggs as i made the decision to write my experience, that someone else may already have the answer. Honsie and I would appreciate your help. So honsie can sing at future Birthday,s God Bless,Thanka Schein.
The contact us email isn't working! How will I ever send cute pictures?!
