In Feburary of 2008, I was determined to get a puppy. After making a ridiculously hard decision between a corgi and dachshund, the love of my life, Edie, arrived in the form of a corgi puppy. Little did I know, a few months later a little dapple dachshund with half of a blue eye would come into my life too. Having been given a name that would get him beat up at puppy parks, we decided to rechristen him, Winston.

Winston loves nothing more than to cuddle up with anyone who so much as looks his way. He takes his job as Edie's shadow quite seriously.

And then there is me. When I'm not removing a dachshund from my corgi's neck, you can usually find me slinging baby bottles and wrangling toddlers as a part-time nanny, in college getting my degree in Changing Majors Every Three Seconds or writing at the pinkest blog you ever did see.
