I'm Elizabeth. My husband and I live in the fabulous city of Cambridge, MA, and have two children, err, dachshunds, named Adley and Radish. Adley, a red short-hair mini, was the last of his litter when we got him in May 2006--otherwise, we probably would have come home with several other dachshunds. We rescued Radish, a black and tan short hair mini, in April 2008 only to learn that she had heart worms, which were entirely treatable, yet frustratingly expensive to treat. She has been worth every penny.
I graduated from a small liberal arts university in December 2007, and now I work from home as a photographer, so my pups are my loyal companions always ready to alert me when someone runs by or approaches the door. I can't go anywhere (particularly the kitchen) without them following me, so they, better than anyone else, can chronicle the minutiae of my life.
